Civil partnership (eingetragene Lebenspartnerschaft)

Germany allows registered partnerships (eingetragene Lebenspartnerschaft) only for same-sex couples. These registered partnerships provide nearly all of the rights of marriage except joint adoption. Inheritance tax benefits are fully available.
