Renvoi

Whenever a court is directed to consider the law of another country, it must be considered if this referrence is to that country`s internal law only or also to that country`s conflict of laws rules. If the referrence includes that country`s conflict of laws rules and such rules refer back to the other country`s law, this is referred to as renvoi.
