Retirement plan (Altersvorsorgeplan)

Retirement plans (Altersvorsorgepläne) is a financial arrangement with a financial institution designed to replace employment income upon retirement. There are tax-privileged (qualified) retirement plans and non-qualified plans in Germany. German tax-privileged retirement plans include (but are not limited to) the Riester and Rürup plans.
