British Probate and Estate Planning Solicitor in Germany
Niamh Lewis is a probate solicitor for England and Wales and specialises in estates with cross-jurisdiction elements in Germany. Niamh has worked in private client teams in England in Wales from 2015 until April 2025, with particular focus on grant applications, estate administration and the preparation and submission of inheritance tax returns on behalf of executors, residuary beneficiaries including charity beneficiaries.
She is an Associated Member of STEP and has obtained the STEP Advanced Certificate Administration of Estates (England & Wales) and STEP Advanced Certificate Taxation of Trusts and Estates (England & Wales).
In April 2025 Niamh returned to Berlin where she was born to Irish parents and grew up. She is an employee of the firm Frank & Partner.
In corporation with German specialist probate and estate planning layers at the firm and, where required, colleagues based in the UK, Niamh offers the following service in connection with German-British inheritance:
