Durable Power of Attorney (Vorsorgevollmacht)

In order to avoid that the German court of protection (Betreuungsgericht) appoints a curator (Betreuer), a person of full age may grant somebody else a durable power of attorney (Vorsorgevollmacht). To achieve this, the attorney generally has broad powers.
